Bimod studied MSci Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Huddersfield and then went on to complete an MRes in Chemistry. During the MRes he worked with Prof Joseph Sweeney on the synthesis of fluorescent pseudoindoxyl before completing a PhD with Dr Karl Hemming working with cyclopropenones to form pyrroloisquinolines and pyrriolizidnones.

The High Throughput Discovery Lab aims to accelerate the discovery of novel bioactive molecules and chemistries which enable understanding, and modulation of, biomedical mechanisms.
