About

Adrián Pedrazo Tardajos is a scientist with experience in advanced electron microscopy techniques. In 2015, Adrián completed his MSc degree in Nanophysics and Advanced Materials at the Complutense University of Madrid and joined the Spanish National Centre for Electron Microscopy as an electron microscopy technician. In 2017 he joined the EMAT group at the University of Antwerp to pursue a doctorate followed by a one-year postdoctoral training. During that time, he focused his research on the development of an ultraclean graphene transfer method and advanced applications of graphene supports for transmission electron microscopy.

At the Franklin, he is currently involved in the development and implementation of advanced electron microscopy techniques, including electron ptychography, tomography, and a range of spectroscopic methods. Through this work, he aims to expand the analytical capabilities of electron microscopy and to provide deeper insight into our understanding of life.
