Discover & Learn

The work that we do at the Franklin looks to transform the future of human health by discovering new insights into the basic building blocks of life, and to find new paths to developing treatments and diagnostics for disease.

It is important for us to be able to communicate the exciting discoveries happening at the Franklin.

About Dr Rosalind Franklin

Opportunities for young people to experience a scientific working environment firsthand

We offer opportunities for young people to experience a scientific working environment firsthand through our work experience weeks. As the Rosalind Franklin Institute is an interdisciplinary institute, rather than focusing on one specific project during their placement with us, students have the opportunity to rotate between different research groups. Students experience how different aspects of science work together to achieve a common goal.
