Featured Partnerships
By collaborating closely with our partners, we open doors to new resources, stimulate innovative thinking, and broaden our reach in ways that would be challenging to achieve independently. Through our partnerships, we build a network of support and innovation, amplifying our impact and enabling us to explore opportunities that enhance our collective success.
Neuro-Bio
We worked with our SME Competition winners Neuro-Bio to determine whether it was possible to detect a potential Alzheimer’s disease biomarker in salvia samples.
IntegerBio
We partner with IntegerBio to drive our nanobodies research forward as a treatment for viral disease, creating new pathways for these innovative agents to reach the clinic and benefit patients in the coming years.
Ionoptika Ltd
The instrument developed in collaboration with UK based Ionoptika enables a dramatic improvement in mass spectrometry imaging (MSI). The new instrument is capable of imaging the whole surface simultaneously, allowing more accurate imaging at faster speeds than was previously possible.
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Researchers at the Franklin have been working closely with Thermo Fisher Scientific through our Wellcome funded ‘Electrifying Life Sciences’ programme to develop the next generation of electron microscopes for imaging the smallest structures of cells in intact tissues, bring these tools to market and establish new methods and standards for the community to enable their wide use.
Diamond Light Source
As one of the Franklin’s founding members, we have worked closely with Diamond Light Source from our inception. A commissioning call through the Diamond eBIC facility enabled first time community access to key components of our cryo-electron tomography pipeline.
