Soumadipta is a Research Assistant within the Next Generation Chemistry Group, with a focus on advanced organoid development and visualization using super-resolution STED microscopy. He holds an M.Res in Translational Cancer Medicine from King’s College London where he worked on AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) disease modelling through chromosomal translocations invivo using CRISPR/Cas9. He has also worked as a Research facilities assistant at the Flow cytometry and sorter facility in the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Stem Cell and Leukaemia Biology Group at King’s College London. Prior to joining the Franklin, Soumadipta has worked at the Francis Crick Institute as a Research Assistant in the Organelle Dynamics Lab, studying the reassembly dynamics and tracking the dephosphorylation kinetics of CHMP7, a membrane transport protein through confocal microscopy live imaging.
