Dr Hazel Housden

Innovation and Translation Manager

Hazel is the Innovation and Translation Manager. She was previously Head of Intellectual Property at an industrial microbiology company, Green Biologics, where she was involved in IP management, project management and scientific research, as the company progressed from a small research company to an international commercial producer of renewable chemicals.

Prior to this she worked as a post-doctoral researcher at The University of York, on a variety of biotechnology projects including biosensors and synthetic biology.

She gained a PhD in Protein Biochemistry from The University of Southampton, and a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College.
