Dr Guoxuan Sun

Guoxuan obtained his PhD from UCL School of Pharmacy in 2021, majoring anti-cancer drug design. His research interest is the design and synthesize of glyosidic compounds that can be applied as chemical probes and drug ligands to investigate the drug-protein interactions. He is also interested in applying Hsp90 CTD inhibitors to alter the function of cancer cells/plants.

He is now working as a PDRA in Sugar Chemical Biology to Enhance Plant Function within Next Generation Chemistry, continuing working on carbohydrate chemistry and looking forward to using anti-cancer drug discovery techniques to generate plant function-enhancing compounds.
