Claire Davison

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Claire obtained her BSc in Chemistry with Forensic Investigation from the University of Surrey and started her PhD in 2021 under the supervision of Dr Felipe-Sotelo, Professor Bailey and Dr Beste. Her research has been focused on developing specialised analytical methodologies for the measurement and imaging of trace metals at the single cell and organelle level, with emphasis placed on understanding the interaction of the causative agent of tuberculosis (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) with its human host cell. She will be working at the Rosalind Franklin Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Laser Desorption and Spectroscopy.
