Dr Daniel McGill

Postdoctoral Research Associate in molecular structure elucidation

Dan studied chemistry at UCL until 2016 and graduated with a PhD in clinical medicine from Imperial College London in 2020. His PhD project involved the development of solid phase extraction-NMR (SPE-NMR) protocols for use in metabolite annotation, but his research interests also encompass the use of mass spectrometry and synthetic organic chemistry.  He hopes to unite these interests in his work as a PDRA in molecular structure elucidation at the Franklin.
